MARSHALL, Cynthia C. Gilbert
Cynthia C. Gilbert Marshall passed away at the of 87 at Monte Vista Grove Home in Pasadena. She was born in St. Paul, MN in 1926, the eldest of 4 girls, children of Louis A. and Marie C. Gilbert. She earned her degree in geology and anthropology from the University of Minnesota, then went on to become a member of the Minnesota Geological Society. She worked for the US Geological Survey in Austria and Grand Junction, CO. In her later years, she worked 10 years for the Pasadena Public Library.
She married Royal R. Marshall, who after working for Harold Urey in Chicago returned to Pasadena to work for Jet
Propulsion Laboratories. She is survived by her sister, Caroline Marie Gilbert, Arden Hills, MN.
