Andrew G. "Jerry" Silva

ATTLEBORO - Andrew "Jerry" G. Silva, 78, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Dianne Y.
(Lauzier) Silva for 52 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Andrew C. Silva and Florence E. (Silvia) Hanna and the stepson of the late Joseph Hanna, he resided in Pawtucket before moving to Attleboro 16 years ago.
Jerry served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 251 and was a driver for Kallaher Oil / Star Enterprises for 24 years until retiring. He was most recently a van driver for the Pawtucket Senior Shuttle. Jerry enjoyed being a Little League Coach and Umpire for over 30 years.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Mark Silva and his wife, Julie, of Dighton, MA and Michael Silva and his wife, Omberetta, of Heidelberg, Germany and a daughter, Lynda Marsden of Providence. He was "Poppy" to his seven grandchildren, Tommy, Joey and James Marsden, Eric and Nicole Silva and Maya and Casey Silva. He also leaves three sisters, Jean Hanna of Warwick, Cherylynn Martin and her husband, Paul, of East Providence and Darlene Perry and her husband, Gerald of Riverside; a brother, Donald Hanna of MA and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joan Haley, Kenneth and Robert Silva.
