JOE BROWN The Lord called Joe to his heavenly home on February 27, 2013. Joe was born to Wesley and Elva Brown on September 26, 1919 in Custer City, OK. Joe was married to Betty Jo for 53 loving years before her death in 2005. Joe served in the United States Army from 1940-1945. Upon returning to the United States after the end of WWII he moved to California 1946. Joe worked in the grocery industry for 35 years before retiring. He resided in San Jacinto for the last 25 years. Joe enjoyed many hobbies including golfing, fishing, and woodworking. Joe is survived by his three children: Wes Brown of Yorba Linda, Don Brown of Palm Springs, and Debbie Fontaine of Lake Elsinore; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, 3/11/2013 from 10:00-11:00 am at Miller-Jones Mortuary, San Jacinto. A graveside service will follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 12:00 pm at 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
