Beloved Carl Renck passed away July 27, 2013. Carl was 82 and son to Donna R. and Joseph Renck. He grew up with his brothers Paul and Gene at their house built by his grandmother in Arlington, not far from the Arlington Methodist Church where he was a life long member. Joe, his dad, started an electrical contracting business in 1948 and Carl worked with him as an electrician. After graduating Poly High School in 1949, he and Donna M. wed and began their life together in Texas while he was in the Air Force Reserve. Carl's stationing was radar surveillance in Minnesota during the Korean War. Returning to Riverside, he continued his career as an electrician repairing wind machines used for frost control of the citrus groves throughout southern California. He was a member of the NECA and Elks Club
. Carl and Donna had 4 children. He enjoyed time with his family most, and gave himself to his family, friends, and people he met. His favorite was fishing and boating at Temple Bar on Lake Mead, but trips to Kennedy Meadows and Baja were also part of his journey. Predeceased by his mother, dad, and first son Mark, he has joined them in heaven. He is survived by his wife Donna, son Steven, daughter Robin and husband Alan Ablott, son David and wife Terry, daughter in law Kathy, and brothers Paul and Gene, with their wives Betty and Jeanette. He also has 4 grandsons; Thomas and wife Megan, Marty, Jason and Evan. A family cemetery (Olivewood) gathering will be held for Carl on August 9, 2013 at 9:30am, followed by a community memorial remembrance at the Arlington United Methodist Church (9395 Magnolia Ave, Riverside), 11:30am.
