Frederick Alan Klopping(1933 - 2014)

FREDERICK ALAN KLOPPING July 8,1933-February 12, 2014 Fred was born in Oakland, CA to Mary Agnes and Earl Gordon Klopping. He is preceded in death by his brother Raymond, and is survived by his 3 children, Frederick Klopping Jr., Michael Klopping and Michele Lovell; sisters Anita Crisp and Carol Hopkins, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Fred joined the army in 1952 and served in Korea until 1955 as an E5-Buck Sergeant 7th Infantry Division. Fred re-enlisted in 1968 and served in Vietnam, as Staff Sergeant E6, 4th Infantry Division and was also a Drill Sergeant at Fort Ord, CA 6th Army Division. He earned a Purple Heart, 3 Bronze Stars and many other badges and metals throughout his military career. He worked for Pacific Bell for 21 years until his retirement in 1992. Fred lived in Hemet at the time of his death. A celebration of Fred's life will be held at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 W. Florida Ave., Hemet on February 20, 2014 at 1:00 p.m . Interment will be held at a later date.
