LEONA HANSEN BOGART Age 95, of Hemet, CA passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Hemet, CA. Born Monday, October 29, 1917 in Oakley, Kansas; she was the daughter of the late William and Flora Day. She worked as an office supervisor for 25 years. A wonderful woman who sincerely cared for others, she was a member of the Ramona Rovers and Elks Lodge
Women's Auxiliary. In her spare time, she loved her roses and camping trips at Lake Hemet. Preceded in passing by her first husband, "Pete" Hansen and second husband, Kenneth Bogart; she is survived by sons, Douglas (Kaye) Hansen and Fred (Irma) Hansen; daughters, Kristina (Tim) Miller and Karen (Mike) Smith; stepson, Scott (Helen) Bogart; stepdaughter, Michelle (Ed) Arnold; sister, Donnie Lee Axtell; thirteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA 92543, with a reception immediately to follow in the Ramona Room behind the mortuary. Leona will be privately and respectfully laid to rest at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery, San Jacinto, CA.
