IN LOVING MEMORY OSCAR EDWIN PAYNE After a long hard battle with cancer, Ed graduated to glory on March 2, 2013. He was surrounded by his loving family at his home in Perris, CA. Survived by his wife, Frances; daughters, Kathy Smith (Mike), Valerie Gemmell (Rod) and Carol Gaines (Benji); 2 brothers, Alvin, Glen; 3 sisters Bonnie, June and Lavon; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Ed was an Atomic War Veteran. Served in Eniwetok and the Bikini Atolls and participated in Operation Redwing. Owner/ Operator of Ed Payne Backhoe. Retired from IUOE as a heavy equipment operator in 1999. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Temple Baptist Church, 745 N. Perris Blvd, Perris, Ca. 92571.
