Ramiro Mario Real

RAMIRO MARIO REAL Ramiro Mario Real went home to be with the Lord Nov. 30, 2013. He was 84 years old. He was raised by his aunt, Dolores De Larios in Los Angeles. He graduated from Belmont H. S. with honors. During the Korean War, he proudly joined the U.S. Navy (1948-1952). He served aboard the Destroyer, U.S.S. Charles S. Sperry, as an Electronics Technician, Second Class. After the war, Ramiro was employed by North American Aviation for 37 years as a quality control inspector. He enjoyed his many years there, and worked on the Apollo 13 Space Mission, the Titan Missile Program, as well as numerous aircraft and submarines. He was 100% proud to be an American. For fun, Ramiro enjoyed being a pilot. He loved to fly. We can picture him in his "Heavenly wings", flying among the Angels of Heaven. Ramiro leaves behind his wife of almost 56 years, LaVonne Real. His four devoted children: Kristi (Bob) Innes, Mario (Michelle) Real, Jaime Real, and Melissa (Jeff) Freeland; four grandkids that called him "Papa"; his sister Dolores De Barba, and his brother Carlos Real in Mexico. In lieu of flowers, please donate to United Methodist Church, Corona. Services will be held at the National Cemetery, Wed., Dec. 11, at 1:15 pm. Pastor Doug Dickson officiating. Ramiro, we love you!
