ROBERT CHARLES RUSH Born April 4, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA Died November 2, 2012 in Hemet, CA Robert lived at Country Lakes in San Jacinto for the past 13 years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII
in Panama. He was called back to Korea and served as a Medic and received the Bronze Star
and Korean Service Medal award. He worked as an Athletic Instructor at his Aunt Chrystal Scarborough's swim school in Culver City, CA. He teamed up with Paul McCormack to form a successful comedy diving swim team which performed throughout So. California. He worked in several research departments: Gemini Vacuum, Teledyne Semiconductor, International Rectifier, Hughes Aircraft (Culver City, Torrance & Costa Mesa), and Raytheon. He was co-contributor on a research paper. Bob was a member of the VFW
8700, Marina City Tennis & Yacht Club, Sunset Mason Lodge, head usher at Church of Religious Science, City of Brea Cap Program, and past president of the Professional Captains. Bob is survived by cousin Scott Teeters of Medford, N.J. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the VFW in memory of Robert Rush. A celebration of his life will be held at Hemet Valley Mortuary on November 12 at 10:00am.
