Wallace Jackson Clark

WALLACE CLARK Age 91 of Hemet, California passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at his home. He was born on December 17, 1920 in Long Beach, California; he was the son of the late Wallace and Etta Clark. Wally grew up on Los Angeles and was a graduate of Belmont High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from Chapman College in 1942. He honorably served our nation in the United States Army on active duty from 1943 until 1946, and continued service in the US Army Reserves until his retirement in 1968 with the rank of Lt Colonel. Wally was involved in various clubs in the Hemet area. He was a member of the San Jacinto Railroad Club, the Square Dance Roamers, and in Orange County he was a member of the Camping Squares. He was a devout Methodist and was honored as a lifetime member of Methodist Men in 2010. He was always serving others. He was always there for family and friends. He was a great role model, faithful Christian, and loyal American. Surviving are sons, Wallace Preston Clark and Timothy John Clark; daughter, Melissa Dalton; brother, Larry Clark; grandchildren, Daniel, Kristen, Cameron, Matthew, and Kelli; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler. Wallace was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Nina Clark, and his brother, Vernon Clark. The family is thankful to Ms. Sue Leuschen of Hemet, a faithful companion providing much-appreciated friendship in Dad's last years. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Baptist Fellowship Church, located at 375 N. Sanderson St. Hemet, CA 92545.
