Chuck had a smile that was contagious. With all he accomplished academically, in sports and in business, he never took himself too seriously, and seemed more interested in others than in himself. How lucky I was to have known Chuck, how lucky he was to have known Debbie. Rather than counting the years, he made the years count. While I'm unable to say good-bye in person, I will pray for you, Debbie, and your family.
