Charles Cole

CHARLES COLE Age 93, passed April 22, 2012. He was born in Caldwell, Idaho on September 10, 1918. Charlie retired from the Los Angeles Police Department after serving 25 years. He was active in the Sun City Lawn Bowls Club and volunteered at Menifee Valley Hospital. He had been a member of American Legion Post 0381 for 66 years. He and Rosalie enjoyed traveling to all 50 states and many foreign countries. Charlie is preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy Cull. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Rosalie; son, David Cole and wife, Martha of Simi, California; daughter, Pamela of Livermore, California; stepchildren, Jacki Houghton and John Houghton; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Charlie lived life to the fullest and will be so missed by all who knew him.
