JACK LEONARD EDWARDS Jack Leonard Edwards, age 75, of San Jacinto, California passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Ramona Manor in Hemet , California. Jack was born May 13, 1935 in San Diego, California. He was the son of the late Jack Louis Edwards and the late Lorrayne Marcia (Butler) Edwards. Jack worked for Orange County Animal Control for 26 years, of which he was the Director of Animal Control for 3 years before retirement. Jack served his country in the Air Force for four years and was on active reserve for the Coast Guard for eight years. His passions in life were golf, motor-homing and of course is beloved animals. He was a member of The Dwelling Place. He is survived by his wife; Linda Edwards; two daughters, Karen Neff of St. Charles, IL and Julia Tell and husband Chris Tell of Colville, WA. His grandchildren Jeffrey Paul Rabalais, Samuel B. Katz and Sean Patrick Neff; one great grandchild Madison Jean Marie Katz. Also his best friend; Keven Goulet, his wife Kathryn and his godson Alexander Jack Goulet. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory in San Jacinto, 165 West 7th Street, San Jacinto, California. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet, 1501 West Florida, Hemet, CA. Funeral service will be on December 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be private at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA. In lieu of flowers, please remember Jack by making memorial contributions to The American Cancer Society.
