I wish I could have known that my nephew had died. I haven't had contact with him since his dad died in 1990. Aunt Lisa Bertok.

This entry is over sue, but I just found out about Kenny's death today. My husband and I knew him in high school and considered him a great friend. We are saddened, and miss him so. He was a great friend and will be missed by all who knew him. God bless.

Kennster...brother Bertok and I used to work together. He would bare his testamony knowing that the church was true. And he was a child of god... At work at the end of the night we used to get wierd looks from our coworkers 'cause we used to sing our favorite primary songs. I miss thoes days... I miss him...

From the moment I met the Bertoks, they immediately opened their arms to me and allowed me to be a part of their family. Kenny was no exception. He never treated me like a "Sister-in-Law". He just treated me like a sister. I will carry many wonderful memories of Kenny, but my favorite memory is when he'd refer to me as "Sis" and nudge me (making sure I would acknowledge that he was being "mushy" with me). That was Kenny's way of saying everything with just one word.
I will forever miss him.

I haven't seen Kenny for a couple of years, but it still sadden's me to get the phone call. I do remember his smile though and how he always lit up the room. We met when Kenny wrestled for my uncle and he is one of those guys you never forget. He is in a better place now and I hope the lord can give his family the strength to see that and to help them though this time. God Bless.
