Andrew Macias Obituary

ANDREW MACIAS Passed away peacefully on September 15, 2010 at the age of 95. Andrew was born on February 4, 1915 in Colton, California. Andrew worked for over 30 years at Rohr Industries and was a parishioner at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine in Riverside. He loved to play his guitar and sing. Andrew is survived by his daughter Linda Viveros(Ruben) and son-in-law William Melendez. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Rosanna Viveros-Amador(Dave), Gloriann Chavez(Larry), Carol and Ruben Viveros, Bill, Tom, Anthony, and Dave Melendez(Nancy). He is also survived by his 10 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Morris Macias. Andrew was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carmen and daughter Vivian Melendez. His family would like to extend their gratitude to his Caregivers, Kyra Lewis, Rosanna Viveros-Amador, and the staff at Emeritus Assisted Living for their loving care of Andrew. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 10:00a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine in Riverside. Interment to follow at Olivewood Memorial Park. My condolences to all of the family, especially to your only living brother, my uncle Morris. I have such fond memories of growing up listening to you play your guitar with my dad. I know you are reunited with aunt Carmen, grandpa, uncle Jess and Chelino, and with my mama your baby sister Pauline. I know you are the lucky one...........Until we all meet again, may you all rest in peace. Love you and miss you all.
