Patricia Lee Chandler

PATRICIA LEE CHANDLER, Ed.D 65, of Riverside, California, died October 23, 2010 from pneumonia. Dr. Chandler was born in Huntsville, Alabama to George Houston Chandler and Flora Thompson Chandler. She is survived by her mother Flora Thompson Chandler; a sister Linda C. Sprinkle; nephew Jefferson E. Sprinkle and wife Lisa; and two great nephews, Mark and Justin Sprinkle. She was preceded in death by her father George H. Chandler. Dr. Chandler attended Florence State University (BS English), the University of Kentucky (MA), California State University, Fullerton (MS Counseling) and received her Doctorate from La Verne University. Dr. Chandler spent 40 years in the field of education as a Teacher, Counselor, Assistant Principal and Assistant Superintendent. Dr. Chandler retired from the Moreno Valley Unified School District in 2007, where she was the Assistant Superintendent. Her cremated remains will be interred in the family plot at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Alabama; at her request no Memorial Service will be held.
