Dearest Boyer family, my thoughts and prayers will be with you in the coming weeks. Ron's service was an amazing tribute. I was not surprised to hear the loving testimonies of his adult life. I spent many hours in the Boyer home growing up. I had my first experience eating KFC at the family dining table. The Boyer family home was a light that shined and became a refuge for this neighborhood girl, on many occasions. With parents that welcomed and encouraged all who entered, a home where all would be comfortable. Dick & Ann's legacy has been passed on to their children. I am so thankful to have been and continue to be a part of the family. You have been blessed if you have been born, married into or as I am, connected in friendship to, the amazing, loving Boyer family. Take heart Lori, you will meet Ron again, your soul mate, and you will dance with him. My dear BFF Bev, I love you.
With much love, Susy Brennan

I alway's loved you very much Ron!!! From the "Magic Show's" to how you loved talking to anyone..Complete strangers..You put a smile on so many face's

I am so sorry to hear of "Dad Boyer's" passing. I have so many fond memories of him growing up; Singing to Nicole and I to wake us up when we had sleepovers, "conveniently" (and often!) reminding us how "Reba McIntyre looked at me & touched my hand!", or when he took us to the Angel Game reminding us "Now, remember we're in the family section so watch your mouths!" just in time for me to say "oh bleep"-of course, he caught it and teased me everytime I saw him! He always had such perfect timing and made me laugh to the fullest. He will be so dearly missed.
Lori, Nicole, and Wade, you are in my thoughts and prayers today, tomorrow, and always.

Ron's sense of humor and positive attitude will never be forgotten by the people he worked with. Ron was a working supervisor who didn't just supervisor from afar he got down and dirty with his men. He appreciated the work they did and rewarded them with praise (and lunch too). He always encouraged his men to love their wives and to treat them well. He always told me if a man doesn't appreciate you, he doesn't deserve you. Ron was a mentor for the people he worked with. We could never be upset around Ron, because he always was uplifting and had positive way of looking at situtations. People that knew Ron loss a real blessing, and he will be missed so very much!
We love you Lori, and we will always be here for you.

Lori,
Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. We loved Ron very much and had a long history of interaction with him. I remember that he loved an old Hoffman TV we gave him back in the mid 70's. What a riot that was. Ron was a wonderful guy, full of fun and humor. He teased some which often livened up those around him. Please know he will be missed very much at the Hearn side of the family gatherings.
Sincerely,
Jim and Georgia Johnson

Beautiful video and great pictures of Ron. Although we knew him for only a short time, he will remain in our heart and that great smile and sense of humor will be what I always remember.
