Jacqueline Cramer

JACQUELINE EDITH CRAMER July 22, 1933 ~ November 30, 2010 Jacqueline Edith Cramer passed away in Riverside on Nov. 30, with family by her side, at the age of 77. Born in Los Angeles, her family moved to Riverside in 1941. She attended Grant Elementary School; Riverside Central Jr. High School; Riverside Poly High School; Riverside City College and UCR with a B.A. in Anthropology. She did her graduate work in Education at UCR. Jackie was an elementary school teacher for the Riverside Unified School District for 30 years. She retired in 1992. Over the years, Jackie was involved in different organizations which included volunteering at the Riverside Municipal Museum; the Riverside Community Players Curtain Raisers; volunteering at the Mission Inn; DKG Society and Riverside Children\'s League. She was awarded Riverside Municipal Museum Volunteer of the Year and several teaching awards. Jackie will be remembered for her love of teaching and sharing. Jackie loved and enjoyed her family and friends; local/US history; traveling; shopping; cook books; botanical gardens; old classic Western movies and PBS series. Spending time with her family and friends brought her the most joy in life. Jackie is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harry; her daughter, Victoria Cramer of Los Gatos, CA; her sons, Harry Cramer III of Riverside and William Lewis Cramer, his wife Michelle and her 2 "precious" granddaughters, Sarah and Megan, all from Prescott, AZ. She is also survived by her sister, Patty Jay of Loma Linda, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kitti and Ben Lewis. Jackie\'s family and friends will miss her loving ways and gracious spirit. We will celebrate Jackie\'s life in a memorial service that will be held on Friday, Dec. 17, 11am at Acheson and Graham, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92504. Following the burial at Riverside National Cemetery, a gathering of family and friends will be held at the home of Harry Cramer in Riverside.
