Juanita Tuttle Obituary

JUANITA MAYDENE TUTTLE Passed away peacefully at the age of 89 at Chapman Convalenscent Hospital on November 6, 2010. Juanita was born in Blackwell, OK October 11, 1921 to Ray and Bessie Goodno. She is survived by two loving sons, Danny (Dianne) of Indio, CA and Mark of Riverside; four devoted grandsons Chris (Marielle), Scott (Lori), Cameron (Aubri), and Miles; one devoted granddaughter Jenny; five adoring great grandchildren Madison, Hannah, Emilie, Jeremy, and Haley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Johnny; two sons, Stephen and Gary; her brother Don Goodno and her parents. Juanita moved to Riverside in 1958 with her husband and three sons and soon after, her fourth son Mark was born. She immediately became involved in Palm Baptist Church of Riverside where she made many lifelong friends and where she remained a member until her death. Juanita loved many things, above all her Lord and then her family and friends. She was a very positive person and was loved by a great many people, both young and old. The moment someone met her, the friendship was sealed. Some of her other interests were traveling with her husband and her family, traveling with close friends, quilting and shopping. Visitation will be held at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary on Friday, November 12, 2010 on Magnolia Ave in Riverside. Funeral services will be held at Palm Baptist Church on Palm Ave, in Riverside at 10am on Saturday, November 13, 2010 with internment at Crestlawn Memorial Park with reception to follow.. Dear Tuttle Family, our deepest condolences on the loss of Juanita. We have so many wonderful memories of Juanita over the last five years. When we moved into Magnolia Gardens at the same time as her we became friends fast. She was so easy to be around and gave such posative vibes. Our memories are of Red Hat meetings and outings...the cruise to Mexico and gatherings here at Magnolia. I don't remember a single time in five years when Juanita was not in a great mood and happy. I never saw her down. A good lesson I hope we have learned from her. Even when she had her problems toward the end she always said she was fine when we would ask how whe was feeling. We will never forget Juanita and loved her so much.
You are a wonderful family and I know you will all be blessed.
Thank you for letting us share such a wonderful lady.
Blessings, Valerie and Brian

To the Tuttle Family;
My fondest memory of Juanita was when Mark and I became pregnant. Coming from a family of 4 girls I wanted to have a boy. Juanita having had 4 boys and only grand sons wanted us to have a little girl. She and I had a friendly wager of what would happen. The day came, and through our miracle Juanita received her first grand daughter. I will always be thankful we were able to give that to her.
Much Love

To the Tuttle family,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. I only met Juanita once when I went to visit her with Donna. She made me feel like she'd always known me. My heart is with your family on this sad occasion. This was only her temporary home. Now she's with the man she loved and the children she cherished.
My sincere condolences to your entire family.
Love Wendie and Shay Burton.

To the Tuttle Family;
I was sad to learn of the loss of Juanita. When I was Academic Dean and Executive Vice President of California Baptist College, she worked for me for fifteen years. She was invaluable to a young faculty member trying to learn the ropes of administration. She was also a perceptive lady who could be fooled by no one -- students, faculty, or administrators. Some of my clearest memories of Juanita involve the love and concern she had for her family. She was so proud of the accomplishments of all her children and grandchildren.
I wish those of you whom I knew the best in the years ahead.

To the Tuttle family,
Juanita will be greatly missed. She had a wonderful life & made life wonderful for so many others.
My fondest memory is when Mark & I became pregnant. I, coming from a family of 4 girls & Mark coming from a family of 4 boys, wanted so bad to have a little boy. Juanita of course, wanted a little girl, having had only son's & grandsons. So all through my pregnancy she & I had a friendly wager on who would win. And of course she was blessed with her devoted grand daughter Jenny.
I was truly blessed to have been part of her family and will hold memories of that time and so many others always.
Much Love
Donna
