Robert Herr Obituary

ROBERT F. HERR Born June 10, 1931 Passed on to the Lord on Oct. 19, 2010 Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, joined the U.S. Marines during the Korean War, and received the Purple Heart, Medal of Honor. After his service in the military he came home to Ohio, moved with family to Arizona, then some years later to California (Cucamonga, and Mira Loma) where he has lived for the last 30 plus years and spent his working life as an aerospace/defense Quality Control Inspector, Sr. Robert F. Herr is survived by his 2nd wife, Janet Herr; sons, Robert "Don", Lawrence from his first wife Doris Lea; grandsons, Matthew, Randy, and Damian; granddaughter, Angela and 2 great-granddaughters, Sapphira and Jaden; Janet\'s son, Jon Drucks and daughter, Linda Evans and 5 grandchildren. Robert Herr was a very loving and caring man, and a very spiritual man. Visitation for Robert Herr will be on Oct. 27, 2010, Wednesday, at 10:00am with Services to follow at 11:30am at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary in Riverside, CA. and placed to rest at the Riverside National Cemetery with full military honors at 1:31pm, Staging Area #6.
