Anthony Hernandez Obituary

ANTHONY R. HERNANDEZ 48 of Highland passed away Sept. 24. He worked as a civilian employee for the S.B County Sheriff\'s Dept. He was the owner of H&H Garage Doors Plus and had served in the Army. Tony\'s greatest love was coaching baseball. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Hotchkiss-Hernandez. Children, Albert (AJ) Rojas, Marissa Rojas and Andrew Hernandez. His mother, Amelia Hernandez, brothers Joe (Rachel) Hernandez, Nicholas (June) Hernandez, sisters Susan (Richard) Placencia, Monica Morton, Patricia Hernandez, Angelina (Dean) Canada, 6 nieces, 6 nephews and his extended baseball family of coaches, players, parents from Highland L.L., Venom, I.E. Elite and the REV baseball program. Memorial Service, Sat. 10/2/10 at 2:00 pm, Redlands East Valley High School on the baseball field. Burial Monday, 10/4/10, 11:15am, Riverside National Cemetery

Tony was a great guy and a great coach. Its hard to imagine that he is gone out of our lives, but he is in a better place now. Im sorry to everyone that was close to him. I was a player for him on Inland Empire Elite baseball team; he was a big influence on me and taught me a lot about baseball.He will be missed and forever remembered. R.I.P. Coach Tony
