Arla Hoffman Obituary

ARLA JEAN "SUSIE" HOFFMAN Born July 11, 1924 in the prairies of North Dakota, passed on to glory on December 6, 2010 in Hemet, California, at the age of 86. Susie grew up in the wheat country of North Dakota and Alberta, Canada. Susie accepted the Lord in 1957 and soon thereafter joined the Church of the Open Door in downtown Los Angeles. She was known as a tireless helper at social events. Susie was a charter member of the Inland Valley Baptist Fellowship. A stroke in 1996 left her without the stamina that she enjoyed in earlier years. Susie was characterized by her willingness to help, her hospitality and her outgoing personality. Susie is survived by her son, Larry McGee and her step-children, Ken, Sheryl, Caryl and Kathi. She also had ten grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9th, at 10:00am at the Inland Valley Baptist Fellowship, 2700 W. Johnston Avenue, Hemet, CA 92545. There will be a luncheon following the service and graveside servoce will be at Riverside National Cemetery. 951-658-4433 #FD833
