Audrey Peterson

AUDREY ANN PETERSON Age 83, resident of Hemet, CA for 20 years, passed away October 11, 2010 due to kidney failure. Audrey was born July 19, 1927 in Denver, Colorado. The family moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1945. She then moved to Glendale, CA in 1977. Her final home was in Hemet, CA. Upon graduating high school she went to work at Los Angeles City College Bookstore for 42 years, eventually becoming manager and retired in 1986. She attended Los Angeles City College for 2 years and graduated from Woodbury College with a B.S. She enjoyed tennis, needlework, ceramics, gardening and of late became an avid coin collector. Audrey is survived by her sister, Emmy Lou Clark of Hemet, CA; nieces and nephews, Jon Peterson (Karen), Karen Smith (Bill), Tina Alhona (Dan), Sue Tabata, Marie Houge (Christian); great-nieces and nephews, Natasha, Stephanie, Kristine, Siera, Kylie, Hunter, and a great-great nephew Ryder. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Peterson, Sr. in 1948; mother, Emma Peterson in 1989; brother, Roy Peterson, Jr. in 1990. She was cremated and requested no services.
