Betty Stone Obituary

BETTY JOYCE STONE Betty Joyce Stone died Tuesday November 9, 2010 at the age of 80 after a hard fought battle with Pneumonia. Betty was born in Dallas, Texas to Elmore and Marie Smith, and is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ted Smith. She is survived by her son David Wayne Petermann, wife Kathy and granddaughters Lindsay and Shannon, her loving husband of 5 years Don J. Stone and his children Jeff Stone, Camille Stone and Debra Harrington, Sister-in-Law Jannet Smith and nieces Michelle and Barbara. Betty was always a high energy person who was an RN for 16 years in the OBGYN field finding joy in bringing life into the world; she later was successful in Real-estate, helping many find their dream homes. Betty was an active member of the LDS Church, always lending a helping hand to those in need. Betty loved singing in the Church Choir and participating in the various church functions. Betty touched, with love, the lives of so many people, she will be truly missed. Services will be held Tuesday at the LDS Church, 18220 Dexter Ave., Lake Elsinore, CA 92530 - 9:00 am, viewing and 10:00 am, Memorial Service. Interment will be private at a later date.
