BRIAN GILBERT RODRIGUEZ 4/4/1988 - 1/4/2013 My dear loved one, although you left too soon you brought more joy and happiness than you'll ever know. The life we spent together was precious and cannot be replaced. The Lord just had different plans. Until we meet again we love you. Brian is survived by mother Sally Moreno (Felix) Ortiz; sister Tenille (Juju), Daniel, Paloma, and Tukwut Ortiz; brothers Felix Jr. (Selena), Reno Ortiz; great grandmother Ruth Masiel (Pechanga); grandparents Consuelo (Pechanga), Frank (Torres Martinez) Morreo; grandfather Eddie (Soboba) Sarah Moreno; many aunts, uncles and cousins; father Gilbert Rodriguez; grandmother Lydia Desoto. Brian was a member of the Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians. He had many relatives throughout the Tribal communities. Brian was baptized and made his 1st Holy Communion at St. Josephs Catholic Mission. Brian was very loved and will truly be missed. Brian was a longtime Green Bay fan but most recently the Chargers and an avid MMA and UFC sports fan. He was a natural athlete and participated in basketball (3 point shooter) valley wide, tackle football with the San Jacinto Eagles and some baseball growing up. Brian attended Winchester elementary, Whittier elementary, Acacia Middle school and West Valley High School. He received his diploma from Mira Loma Christian Academy. Brian loved to ride dirt bikes, and especially loved Trophy trucks and desert races. Demolition Derbys were fun as a family sport but skateboarding was tops! He had a passion for beanies and his hats and those sunglasses. Besides all his hobbies he loved his family very much. Services will be held at Inland Memorial Harford Chapel with visitation on 1/11/13 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 10:00am on 1/12/13 with mass at St. Josephs Catholic Mission with burial following at Soboba Indian Reservation cemetery.
