I was curious about Carol, my college advisor. I practically lived in her office always looking for academic advice. My heart broke when I saw this page. My heartfelt condolences to her family. She certainly is a loss to her family and to me. But she'll certainly always live in our hearts.

Carol,

The world has lost an angel, but Heaven has gained one. From Summer Bridge in '97 to undegrad you have been a great support system. I knew that I could always come to you and count on your nurturing, giving, wonderful spirit. I also remember your words of comfort, support, and overall wonderfulness. I will miss you dearly and pray that God rest your soul in peace and pray for your loved ones during this difficult time. With lots of love and prayers.

My condolences to Carol's family and friends. Carol was my advisor at UCR during my undergrad years. I believe without her, I wouldn't be who I am today. Thank you for all you did for me Carol, you will be greatly missed.

I cannot find the words or emotions to express my sorrow. I know you are needed in heaven, but were also very much needed here. You were gone to soon, too fast. Thank you Carol, for being my friend and allowing me to be part of your life.

Dear Carol, We go back many year's working side by side. There were many things we talked about, but the love you had for your girl's, Michelle and Rachel, was something we all knew. You were a very loving, caring, and giving person. The Angel's are going to have a time trying to keep up with your calendar. You could never say no to students. They loved you so much. I am happy you are at peace now. Viya con Dios as you always said. Love

Carol, you were here for me when David got sick and I cried in your arms. You told me it's okay that Derek had his hair
different colors, because he was a smart
science major. You were a good friend.

Hi Carol, I thank you infinitely for all of your love, support, friendship, guidance and advice. I think of you so often, as I work with students. I am a better counselor for having known you, as I am inspired to work with students in finding balance between academics and life as you helped me. You were my mom on campus, where I could cry and be vulnerable. I'll never forget that you were always feeding us and sharing your warmth. I cannot find words to express the full extent of my admiration and gratitude but find comfort in knowing you are now in the presence of Our Heavenly Father. I am sure that not alone in letting you know that you were an angel on earth as you are now in heaven. With love, Karina Preciado-Quintanilla
