Diana Markley Obituary

DIANA MARKLEY 7/18/1931 ~ 9/28/2010 Diana passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born in Wichita, Kansas, but lived the majority of her life in Riverside. She worked several years at Don Baxters & Capitol Records, but her passion was the drapery business she owned and operated. Diana is survived by 6 children, Mike Corkins (Nora), Jim Corkins, Cheryl Heisler, Ray Elder (Marsha), Carole Schaffer (Sonny), Vicky Fowler (David); 6 stepchildren, Vicky Pena (Art), John White (Carol), Lizzy Burr, Crystal Gonzales (David), Vernon Markley (Debi), Frank Markley; 33 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by 1 sister, Barbara Sakaguchi. Diana was a loving and devoted mom and awesome granny. A memorial service to celebrate the life of an amazing woman will be held Mon., Oct. 4, 2010 at 4:00pm at Rubidoux Mortuary. The viewing will be at 12 noon-4pm, prior to the memorial service.
