Dollie Learn Obituary

DOLLIE D. LEARN November 22, 1912 ~ September 16, 2010 Dollie D. Learn of Sun City, CA, passed away peacefully at her home on September 16, 2010. Dollie was born in Lewiston, PA, where she lived and worked until February 1941. She moved to San Francisco, CA to marry Elwood D. Learn, her husband of 30 years. They subsequently moved to Los Angeles, CA where their daughter, Teri, was born. After Mr. Learn\'s death in 1971, Dollie lived in Denver, CO, Vacaville, CA, Canyon Lake, CA and finally since 1985 in Sun City, CA. She was an active member of the Canyon Lake Community Church until recent years. She was an avid and astute bridge player. Dollie is survived by sisters, Jayne and Phyllis of Pennsylvania; brother, George of Pennsylvania; daughter, Teri and son-in-law, Jack English of California; granddaughter, Elizabeth of New York and grandson, David of Washington. Her family wants to express their sincere thanks to Dollie\'s caregivers from Angels of the Valley and to Cornerstone Hospice. A memorial service will be held at the Canyon Lake Community Church on Saturday, October 9.
