Miss you dad

We moved next door to Gordon and Lagatha in August of 2003 in Murrieta, Ca. Gordon had a great sense of humor. December of the same year, my husband Tom was out hanging Christmas lights when Gordon came out of his house laughing and said, "Thanks a lot. I suppose I now have to put out mine." On Father's Day, the following year, I decided I would mow the lawn for my husband. Gordon came out and said, "I need to know how Tom got you to mow the lawn, maybe I can use do the same thing to get Lagatha to mow ours. Of course he was teasing. Gordon was a wonderful man and we were very blessed to have known him. Debbie & Tom McMahon

I had the blessing of 2 dads in my life and Pa played a key role in showing me many things. This was a man who took on the role of dad for 3 girls from a previous marriage and then had another one later. We all feel so greatful for having him in our lives. We will cherish all the memories in our hearts. I don't know where I would be if you didn't guide me all through the years. I love you pa very much. #1 Daughter, Sherry K, and Tom Alford
