Jean Begorre Obituary

JEAN BAPTISTE BEGORRE May 16, 1939 ~ December 03, 2010 Jean Baptiste Begorre of San Jacinto passed away on December 03, 2010. Jean Baptiste was born in Armendaritz, France on May 16, 1939. He was in the French army and worked as an apprentice on a farm before coming to the United States in 1962. He was a milker for 48 years and raised cattle in San Jacinto. He was a member of St. Anthony\'s Catholic Church. He was an avid Angels fan and enjoyed spending Saturdays watching Hemet Youth Baseball, where he was affectionately called "Grandpa Jean," and AYSO soccer. He had an infectious smile and laugh that will be missed by many. Jean Baptiste is survived by his wife, Marie Lucie, of San Jacinto; a brother, Baptiste Begorre, of Washington; a sister, Marie Louise Ascarrin of France; his son and daughter-in-law, Marcel and Catherine Begorre of Hemet; his daughter and son-in-law, Marie-Antoinette and David McPhee of Riverside; his daughter and son-in-law, Monique and James McKay of Hemet; and his pride and joy, two grandchildren, Jacob and Marley Begorre of Hemet. A rosary will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 8:30am, at St. Anthony\'s Catholic Church in San Jacinto. Funeral Mass will follow at 9:00am. Interment will be held at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery.
