Grandpa,
You taught me more about life than anyone else could ever know or understand. You were the only Grandpa I ever had, and nobody can change that for me. Thank you for loving Grams unconditionally, I have no clearer example of what love truly is than the way you loved her, took care of her, and loved ALL your kids and gradkids too. I will never forget any of that. Not a day will go by that I won't question why such a great man had to be taken, but I will continue to try to seek comfort in knowing that you are in a better place. I will never stop missing you, the guardian angel who finally found his place in heaven. I love you so much, and I wait for the day you will wink at me again.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. May you only have happy memories of John and know that he loved each one of you with all of his heart. I thank him for accepting us into his family.

Dad,

I know we were not blood related, but you accepted my daughter and I into your life as family many years ago and for that I'm grateful. Your passing has left a void in life that will never be filled. We will truly cherish each moment and word of wisdom that you shared. You hold a special place in our hearts and will forever be our hero!!! Love Lorri
