John Lindsay Memoriam

"IN HONOR FOR MY LOVING SON" JOHN C. LINDSAY Aug. 1, 1946 ~ Feb. 22, 2010 Passed in his sleep. Born in Indio, CA. Moved to Riverside, CA at one month old. Graduated from Poly High School in 1964. He went to work for the City of Riverside in 1965 for the Street Dept. and after 37 years retired in 2002 as Supervisor. John earned recognition with plaques due to many important jobs well done for the city; that he took pride in doing, and respected all men under his leadership. John\'s family was his life - survivors: mother, Billie Lindsay; two sons, Keith A. (Tina), Paul A. (Linda); three granddaughters, Erin, Morgan, Ashlyn; three grandsons, Andrew, Douglas, Daniel; aunts, uncles and cousins. Thanks to all who attended John\'s memorial as the mortuary was wall to wall with people who cared for him. He would have been proud. Love Eternally Mother and Family

My condolences to the family. I was a next door neighbor to “Johnny” when he was 11 and I was 9, in Riverside. We lived on 6th street in a duplex and he lived in my dads apartments, next door. My first boyfriend, so many years ago! So sorry to hear of his passing.
