Lupe Montejano Obituary

LUPE MURO MONTEJANO November 3, 1938 ~ September 28, 2010 Lupe passed away peacefully at her Corona home surrounded by her family. She was 71 years old. She was born and raised in Corona, CA where she met and married her childhood sweetheart and raised their four children. She was a life-long member of St. Edwards Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, cooking, and vacationing with her family. Lupe is survived by George, her beloved husband of 52 years; son George Jr. and wife Shirley, son Ruben; daughter Patty Cortez and husband Greg, daughter Vicky Galvan and husband Jesse. Four sisters; Julia Padilla (Meno), Natalie Ruiz (Paul), Hortencia Vargas, and Ofelia Medina (Pete); two brothers, Ruben Muro (Anna), and Chindo Muro (Rita). 9 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. A viewing will be held at Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona on Monday, October 4 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM. Mass will be held at St. Edward Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 5 at 11:00 AM with a burial to follow at Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery She will be dearly missed.
