My Aunt Mildred will always have a special place in my heart. Charles and Edna were contemporaries and we had great times in Crestline when we were kids. Aunt Mildred was a calm and quiet presence and I will always remember her fondly. I have several of her beautiful cross stitches and I treasure them. She was an artist. My love to her family.

To the family, I send my condolences. To Mildred I say so long for now as I know I will see her again. It will be hard at first I have grown up with calling to talk to my Dad (Larry) and to not hear Mildred going outside no matter what time it is to yell LARRYYY as loud as she could and to always ask how I am well she waited to pass the phone over. I am so happy that I did get to spend time with her I got to learn needle point from one of the best, I have my pieces of art work that will be treasured forever.

Edna:
My heart goes out to yours with love and with sympathy. It has been a tough year for you, but you have an amazing spirit and strength. Memories are ours to keep, and they do alot toward soothing a suffering heart. Know that she loved all of you very
much, and is now starting a journey she has waited a long time for.

I will miss the wonderful stories she told of growing up in a time so different from ours. She was my good friend, who's loving heart will always be remembered. In your time of need, know that I am here for you.

My love and deepest sympathies to Edna, Charles and Larry, and the numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren of my Aunt Mildred. A full generation has now passed, and she, as well as all our family, will be greatly missed.

On a personal note, Aunt Mildred never missed sending me a Christmas card, and always wrote a brief note or sent along an old family photo. I always looked forward to her cards, and loved her faithfulness in remembering me. She is a very special and beloved aunt.
