Pauline Hendricks

PAULINE (YOUNG) HENDRICKS Born November 8, 1930 in Mannford, OK, passed away February 26, 2011 in Riverside, CA. Her life was devoted to her family and friends. She was warm, loving and embraced the title of Grandma with all her heart. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Pauline was an avid Sooners football fan. When the Sooners were playing she was there cheering at every touchdown. Over the years Pauline worked in the fashion departments of Broadway, Harris\', Nordstrom and Gottschalks, where many of her co-workers and customers became close personal friends. Pauline was known for her fabulous pies and would deliver them to friends and family in glass pie plates with her initials scratched in them. We all knew if you didn\'t return the plate, you didn\'t get another pie. Mom you were so very special. She leaves behind her husband of 57 years Frank; sons Steven of Cabazon, CA and Brian, daughter-in-law Deb and beloved grandson Matthew, all of Las Vegas, NV; sisters Opal Serzy of Amarillo, TX and Imogene DeLay of Tulsa, OK; her many nieces and nephews and her best friend of 50 years Marilyn Mooney-Garton of Riverside, CA. Pauline\'s wishes were for no formal memorial service, but that her family and friends remember her in their own way.
