Robert Schultz Obituary

ROBERT CARLTON SCHULTZ An honorable man, esteemed father and grandfather, and loving companion 77, passed away on November 14, 2010, at Redlands Community Hospital. He died peacefully of natural causes, attended by his companion of many years Eva Pitter, his children, Craig and Lisa, his daughter-in-law Cyndy, and his granddaughter Willow. Robert was born in Los Angeles, California, and spent several years in the Navy before beginning his life-long career at Santa Fe Railway. His unerring sense of responsibility and sterling work ethic were passed along to his children, Craig and Lisa Schultz. In his later years, Robert was an animal lover, an occasional golfer, an avid hiker, a gallant dancer and a steadfast companion. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Cyndy Schultz, his daughter Lisa Schultz, and his grandchildren Kyle, Chase and Willow. On Friday, November 19, at 3:00pm, a memorial service will be held for him at First Baptist Church, 34784 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, CA 92399, 909-790-1971. A reception will follow immediately at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, tax-deductible donations in his name may be made to: The Peace Project 6101 Washington Blvd. Culver City, CA 90232
