Russell Alderman Obituary

RUSSELL ADAM ALDERMAN of Moreno Valley, CA passed away on September 23, 2010; he was 67. He was born on February 3, 1943 in Detroit, MI. He attended Poly High School in Riverside, and served in the United Stated Marine Corps from April 1960-May 1964. He retired from Civil Service after 30 years, and was an independent backflow tester for EMWD. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the American Legion Morrison Memorial Post 574. He was preceded in death by his parents, MSGT/USAF Russell E. Alderman and Janet Alderman, a sister, Carol L. Alderman, two step-daughters Lori and Melissa Johnson, and his wife of 33 years, Carolynn Kay Alderman. He is survived by his sister, Janice Weaver of Oregon; two daughters, Brandi Webb of Arthur City, TX and Jamie Alderman of Riverside, CA; three step-sons, Brett Johnson of Beaumont, CA, Mark Johnson, of Upton, MA, and Chris Johnson of Upland, CA; and 12 grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary of Moreno Valley, CA and a memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Fellowship Bible Church, 1363 W. Linden Street, Riverside CA on Friday, October 1, 2010 at 11:00am.
