Shirley Zorn Obituary

SHIRLEY E. ZORN (nee REICHERT) 78 years of age, a resident of Hemet since 1960, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2010, at Hemet Valley Medical Center from complications arising from acute interstitial pneumonitis. She was born on August 6, 1932, in Cleveland, OH to Karl and Julia Reichert. In 1954 she married Ralph R. Zorn, also of Cleveland. In 1960 they moved, with their family, to Hemet and she then devoted herself to raising her family while Ralph built the Blue Fountain Mobile Home Park. She was a long time supporter of the Ramona Humane Society and will be remembered by those who knew her for her love of animals. Early in life she loved to travel, both around the United States and to Europe. She is survived by her three sons: Jeffrey of Ithaca, NY, James of Buenos Ares Argentina, and Jonathan of Hemet, CA, and also by her sister Rose Marie of FL. According to her wishes there will be no memorial service. Those who wish to honor her memory may make donations in her name to the Ramona Humane Society, 690 Humane Way, San Jacinto, CA 92582. Entrusted To The Care Of: McWane Family Funeral Home Del Matthews, Director (951) 658-9497 - FD #998 www.mcwanefamily.com

Shirley was a lifelong friend of mine and my husband Ray. I talked to her before our 60th high school reuion this August. We always enjoyed our time together whenever it was. She
will be missed. I am sorry that we could never have met her family. She was telling me about her favorite young men, and was very proud of each of you and rest of your families. She loved you all. She was content and enjoyed taking care of her 3 cats she told me. You have our Sympathy Ray and Lucia Strater
