Charles Bishop Obituary
SAN BERNARDINO CHARLES "CHUCK" BISHOP 82, of San Bernardino, CA. lost a courageous battle to leukemia at St. Bernardine Medical Center, San Bernardino on April 21, 2010, with family by his side. Chuck was born in Tsingtao, China to the Rev. Dr. James & Margaret Bishop on August 2, 1927. He was educated at Baldwin School for Boys and Woodstock School, Mussourie, India. He later attended the University of Redlands and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, He also attended the University of California, Riverside and LaVerne Law School. He was a member of the CA Society of CPA\'s and St. Bernardine Medical Center Auxiliary. Chuck was past president of Redlands Optimist Club and Arrowhead Country Club. Chuck was a Big Band Disc Jockey for radio stations KUOR and KCAA in the local area for many years. He also served with the USAF. Chuck was a prominent CPA in private practice for 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine, daughters, Donna (Edward) Gracia, Karen Bishop, sons, David (Sharon) Bishop, Andrew Bishop, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister, Evangeline (Kennie) Linn, special nephew, Steve (Jan) Willie and many additional nieces and nephews. Memorial service 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church, 1900 N. "D" St., San Bdno. with private interment. In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to St. Benardine Medical Center Foundation or First Presbyterian Church. On-line condolences may be left to the family at www.bobbittchapel.com
