JAMES C. YOUNG JR.

JAMES C. YOUNG, JR. Of Sun Lakes in Banning, went home to the Lord on August 23, 2010, after a long, courageous battle with lung cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley; a brother, Ronald Young of Hollidaysburg, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheryl and Carl Zitek and Debbie and Sonny (Curtis) Carroll of Moreno Valley; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Robin Young of Banning; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, along with a host of family members and friends. He was preceded on the journey home by his parents, James Sr. and Elmira (Wentz) Young, a brother, Francis Young and two beautiful grandchildren, Sarah Young and Ryan Brown. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Wiefels & Sons, 50 E. Nicolet St., Banning. Viewing at Wiefels and Son is on Sun., Aug. 29 from 5:00pm-7:00pm, followed by the Rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Mon., Aug. 30, 2010 at 10:00am at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church, 157 W. Nicolet St., Banning.
