Carlton Armstrong Obituary

Carlton Cortez Armstrong, 89, of Corona, California, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2011 in Corona, CA. He was born June 22, 1922 in Mill Creek, Oklahoma, son of Henry Waterson Armstrong and Trixie Ann Armstrong . Carlton was in the Navy from 1942 to 1963. He worked as a Auditor for U.S. Government until his retirement. Carlton loved his country and served it honorably. He attended St. Matthew Catholic Church in Corona and was one of the founders of the Young at Heart Group. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Men's Club. Mr. Armstrong is survived by 3 Daughters, Carla Frey of Corona, CA; Lori Killian of Irvine, CA; Cheryl Armstrong of Long Beach, CA and a son, Daniel Armstrong. He has 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Carlton was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Armstrong, A viewing will be held at Thomas Miller Mortuary on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 10:00 am with Father Neil Fuller officiating. Following the Mass the Interment will be held at Riverside National Cemetery at 12:30 PM - Staging Area #6 in Riverside, CA. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Thomas Miller Mortuary & Crematory
