Chuck Strange Obituary
CHUCK STRANGE Born: 6/18/1950 in Los Angeles, CA; passed away: 6/29/2012 in Perris, CA. Charles Nader, Jr., spent most of his adult life in an amazing stunt driving career as Chuck Strange. Chuck thrilled crowds in large arena venues such as the Astrodome with stunt driving exhibitions jumping pickup trucks, sand buggies, and a variety of other vehicles. Chuck developed his driving skills though trial and error and held the world record for the longest jump in a pickup. Chuck also devoted his time to officiating at off-road racing events for organizations such as SCORE, using his unique four-wheel drive Rolls Royce to help racers. Chuck is survived by a brother Mike Othon of Riverside, CA and countless fans and friends in both the off-road racing family and in the stunt driving world. A celebration of Chuck's life will be held at Glen Helen Raceway, 18585 Verdemont Ranch Road, San Bernardino, CA (909) 880-1733, Friday, August 3, 2012, 7:00PM. VIP tent outside of turn 1. Sponsored by Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series.
