Robert J. "Bob" Kuntzman(1937 - 2013)

Robert J. Kuntzman died peacefully Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 in Swansea, Ill., at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was 75. His wife Carol Kuntzman and daughters, Gina Moultrie and Kathryn French, were by his side.
Bob was born Aug. 11, 1937 in Kankakee, Ill. He joined the United States Navy shortly after graduation and married Sharon Kunztman in September of 1937. He was a member of the U.S. Navy for 20 years. After his retirement he relocated his family to the Kenai Peninsula in 1974. He was an employee and manager of the Kenai Supply store on the Peninsula for many years and then moved to Wasilla, where he managed the Kenai Supply branch there.
Bob loved to hunt, fish, play golf and prospect for gold. He will now be able to do all of those things to his hearts content. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Carol Kunztman; daughters Kristine Hill, of Sterling, Gina Moultrie, of Kenai, and Kathy French, of Soldotna. He had nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Bob was laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis Missouri with full military honors.
