On the morning of July 5, Tony passed in Cook Inlet doing the things he loved! His life was filled with adventure for the outdoors and huge love in his heart for his family.

One of two children, Tony was born on February 8, 1956 in Pottsville, PA. Tony left Pennsylvania for a life in the outdoors of Montana. He hunted as much as he could but ended up working the woods for his outdoor addiction. He came to Alaska in 1985 to pursue a career in the oil field. Throughout his career, Tony gained many lifelong friends and proved his work ethics were superior.

He is survived by his daughter, Samantha; stepsons, Jeremy (Natacha, Dometri, Mystica, Arena) and Jonathan (Angelina, Niabella, Janaiya, Aliana); stepdaughter, Candice (Kaylani, Dallas, Ashley, Miller); brother Pete with wife Alice; nephews Matthew (Tristan, Aurora, Austin) and Christopher (Kristel, Leah, Finley, Noah); and niece Sarah.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Lawrence Walsh.

A ceremony of life will be celebrated on August 4th at 4 Corners Lounge in Palmer, AK from 12-3 p.m. There will be an additional celebration in Minersville, PA this coming fall. Family and friends will get together and remember a man who worked hard for his family and enjoyed life at the same time. Farewell, Mad Anthony.
