Soldotna resident Brenda Nichol, 58, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2017 from pancreatic cancer at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna.

A Celebration of Life and Potluck will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at Peninsula Grace Brethren Church, 44175 Kalifornsky Beach Road.

Brenda was born Feb. 9, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting, making jewelry, painting, scrapbooking, and making greeting cards. Brenda worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for 39 years, working recently out of the offices on Kalifornsky Beach and also worked part time at Jo-Ann Fabrics in Soldotna.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Barbara Bossler, and her husband, Randy Nichols.

She is loved and missed by her brothers, Kenneth and Karl Bossler of Baltimore, Maryland; son, Bryan (Ginger) Wise of Soldotna; daughter, Diann Wise of Muncie, Indiana; and many friends.
