My path to owning a fitness center began with my participation in sports at Ruidoso High School in New Mexico. I went on to play volleyball and run track at the University of Redlands in California where I received my undergraduate degree. I then entered the Sports Medicine and Kinesiology graduate program at Humboldt State University in California, which led to my Certification as an Athletic Trainer. While at HSU I worked with various sports teams including football, softball and rugby. I worked in the fitness industry for several years as a personal trainer, group exercise instructor, cardio coordinator and office manager. I then decided to pursue my Masters in Physical Therapy. I moved to Lander in 2005 after completing my Physical Therapy degree at UNM in Albuquerque. I have been practicing PT in Fremont County since I moved here. I am a Level 2 YogaFit instructor and a Level 4 Core Dynamics Pilates instructor. I am trained in John Barnes MFR techniques. I am excited to offer all of the skills I have learned over the years under one roof! I am passionate about teaching and facilitating health and wellness to as many people as possible!"
