Sterling resident Diana Lee White, 63, died Sunday, July 15 at Central Peninsula General Hospital from cancer.

No service is planned at this time.

Diana was born March 18, 1955 in Miami, Florida to David L. and Margaret E. White.

We would like to thank our youngest sister, Maria, for her continuous care of our oldest sister Diana the past 2+ years in her home. Thank you also to our many friends, relatives, and neighbors who had the opportunity to know Diana personally. We would also like to thank the staff at Central Peninsula General Hospital for their care, kindness, respect, and thoughtfulness to Diana and our family during her stay.

You can honor Diana's memory by enjoying the life you have been given and the people who are in it. Diana was well known for her warm, gentle and kind personality towards everyone she met. She greeted everyone with hugs and kisses.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother and twin sister, Donna Ellen.

She leaves her brother, Mark White of Sterling; sisters Marsha (Gary) Lindman of Soldotna, Melinda (Gene) Birky of Anchorage, Maria Horwath of Sterling; nieces Leah (JD) Moore, Rachel (Shaquille) Odom; nephews Nathan Horwath, Carl (Jenna) Horwath, and Matthew Birky; a great-niece; three great-nephews; and numerous cousins.
