With broken hearts, the family of George Douglas "Doug" Conner, age 36, announces his passing on Monday, April 9, 2018 at home in Soldotna.

Doug will be lovingly remembered by his wife Crystal; children Jayla, Alaina and Braydon Conner; parents George and Mary Conner; brothers Eric and Todd Conner; along with many nieces and nephews and friends.

He was born Jan. 31, 1982 and graduated from Soldotna High School in 2000. He was a commercial fisherman and a builder of custom homes, through his business Pristine Homes.

Doug's wife Crystal shares, "Doug was the center of our family. He was my soulmate and lover, a great leader, compassionate, kind, loving, generous and strong. He was a great dad, very intentionally going on daddy-daughter dates regularly and loved dancing and spending time with his three children. Doug had a great sense of humor, was a strategic thinker, hard worker and very humble. He was a role-model, warrior and great provider. He lived life to the fullest and had a smile that wouldn't go away. Doug put God first and was the spiritual leader of the family. His presence will be missed forever."
