Kenai resident George E. Carnahan Jr. passed away peacefully in Auburn, Calif., on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the age of 81.
There will be a memorial at 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, July 23 at the Kenai Park Strip, 400 Main Street Loop. Please bring a dish to pass and some memorable stories to share.
Mr. Carnahan was born on Dec. 6, 1931 in Denver, Colo.
He is survived by his two sisters, younger brother, three siblings and six grandchildren. Whenever he wasn't tinkering on something he was waiting for fishing season. He loved Kenai in so many ways and will be greatly missed.
