Kenai resident James H. Wheeler died on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016 at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.
Henry was born on Nov. 22, 1946 Roswell, New Mexico. He was the seventh child born to Joseph Hardy Wheeler and Alma Lois (Mcginnis) Wheeler.
Henry spent the last years of his life in Kenai, Alaska. Henry worked at a lumber mill in Roseburg, Oregon for 20 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. He had a love for his old Chevy cars. He was a loving father and always had a joking attitude during even the toughest times.
Henry leaves to cherish his memory children Tammy Thompson, Kevin Wheeler and Robyn Dominguez; sister, Sandra Haugues; brother, Ernie Wheeler; grandchildren Cheyenne Greenwalt and Nicholas Dominguez; and great-grandchild, Hailey Elizabeth Rose Greenwalt. We will miss you, Dad.
